Panel Discussion with ICC Judge Beti Hohler

👩‍⚖️ Join ASA International Law for an evening with ICC Judge Beti Hohler.

We are pleased to host a panel discussion on international criminal law, Judge Hohler’s work at the International Criminal Court, and recent U.S. sanctions against the Court.

Judge Hohler has spent most of her career practising law at international and internationalised criminal courts. Before her election as a Judge, she worked as a Trial Lawyer in the Office of the Prosecutor of the ICC and previously advised international judges in complex criminal cases at the EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo.

The discussion will be moderated by Enya Dignam Mak, an LLM candidate in Public International Law at the University of Amsterdam, who recently represented the UvA at the international rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.

This is a unique opportunity to learn more about the ICC, international justice, and the career path of a judge working at one of the world’s most important criminal courts.
