The Amsterdam Student Association of International Law (formerly Volkenrechtskring) is an association for law students and others with a special interest in international law. Lectures and other events concerning current international law topics will be organised, thus creating a forum for discussion.
The association’s main objective is to study international legal issues and to provide a forum where students and teachers can exchange views. Every semester guest lectures, debates, field trips and other events on current developments in international law will be organised, as well as social gatherings where students can get to know each other better in a more informal setting. In addition to that, every year a study trip to Geneva is organised, where visits are paid to a number of international organisations and institutions.
Membership is free. Become a member of our association and get to know people with the same interests, participate in active discussions about current developments of international law and field trips to international institutions, attend guest lectures and join us in the annual trip to Geneva!
